  3. The girls have all the warmth and empathy of nymphs. Which in turn leads me to wonder what are the babies in the nest? A repast after tea? Or offspring treated with complete lack of maternal affection?

  7. Clearly this is a sedate bloggers tea, with each blogger choosing an avatar. Blonde blogger has been called a birdbrain so many times that she embraces it and lulls people into the false belief that her posts will all be about fluffy bunnies and cotton candy; the deer symbolizes the quiet research the next blogger is so good at, and does so quietly, with no fanfare, that she's able to hack the Kremlin and nobody the wiser; the squirrel stands for what some think are all the pesky mommy blogs, which truly are a benefit for all those who read them. They appear to be about the mundane minutiae of a bored stay at home mom but are actually a way of sharing parenting and coping techniques with others who might feel isolated, especially those whose friends aren't also stay at home moms and deride them for not having careers. Because raising children is unimportant. The last blogger's avatar is a fish, symbolizing her Christianity and adherence to the Magisterium's teaching. She embraces it although others believe her to be a downtrodden woman, whose husband is completely in control of everything. Even her clothing choices.

    This is a rare glimpse into the secret lives of bloggers. The women bloggers hold teas regularly, but invitation only. I'm told that they sometimes invite high profile guests but those teas have media and artist blackouts.
